Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress , best well-known for her character in 24 and the voice work that she did for Tess in the game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. During her youth, she competed in Irish dance and belonged to the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by appearing as an extra on Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to star in guest roles on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character in ABC Daytime's soap show General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Her other credits in theater include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on TV shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she appeared as a regular in the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was made public in the story trailer shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching was to play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
