Gillian MacLaren Jacobs

Gillian MacLaren Jacobs, born October 19, 1982 was an American actress. Britta Perry, a comic on NBC is best known for her appearances in the Netflix series Love (2016-2018), Mickey Dobbs on Netflix's romantic comedy series Love (2016-2018) or Atom Eve on Invincible (2021). She starred as Mimi-Rose Howard in the fourth season of the HBO comedy-drama series Girls (2012-2017) and was in films such as Life Partners (2014), Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015), Don't Think Twice (2016), Brother Nature (2016), Life of the Party (2018), Ibiza (2018), I Used to Go Here (2020) as well as the Fear Street trilogy (2021). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 19 1982. Martina Magenau Jacobs is her mother. She is employed at Carnegie Mellon University in alumni relations. Her father, William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investment banker. Her father died in 2013. Her mother was her caregiver in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family owned the Erie Brewing Company (not to be confused with the later brewery that bears the same name), where her father, John Martin Magenau Jr. was President and CEO until the company ended in 1978.Jacobs began her studies in acting at age four and attended weekend acting classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up. She performed regularly in the Pittsburgh Public Theater. This gave her the opportunity to perform in Titania's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. in 2000, she was able to graduate from Lebanon High School. After that, she relocated to New York City for the Juilliard School. There, she received her BFA in 2004.
