Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow, born December 18, 1979. Her most well-known roles include her role in The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara and The Darkness. Also, she is known for her character of The Armorer in The Mandalorian, the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also a part of the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born the 18th of December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began acting at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also participated in professional and amateur theater productions. Swallow graduated from Stanton College's Preparatory School in the city of Jacksonville, in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies. She continued to study for an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008, she made her film debut in The Lucky Ones, a military drama. The show was the world premiere of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse as well as in a duet with Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins The production of Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theater, [citation needed] and also in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. She was awarded the Falstaff Award for best Female Performer in 2010 for her performance as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew.In 2012, Swallow and fellow singer/comedian Jac Huberman created their own stage show, Jac N Swallow in which they performed in New York at the Laurie Beeckman Theater and Joe's Pub. The show is about the hilarious mishaps and adventures of Jac Huberman and Swallow when they confront a variety of challenges in their lives with the same degree of difficulty.
