Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie (born on December 10, 1987) is a American journalist and sportscaster. As an anchor for Fox NASCAR, she presents the daily news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's interest in stock car racing started when she was given a pit lane pass, and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. Vincie's personal NASCAR videos were posted on SceneDaily which is a stock car racing website. Vincie was born on December 10 of 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was raised in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved from Warrenton to begin Vincie's high school. She is the youngest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator for the fifth grade when her grandfather was on the faculty of Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always been interested in since a young age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. Vincie was an athlete in the track and field and was the school's coach for four years. She won the 800m event at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with lots of information. In 2010, Vincie graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie worked as an intern for the university's athletics division. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote a senior dissertation about auto racing gender disparity that was focused on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She was drawn to racing after she received an entry into the pit lane to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her inspirations include Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
