Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress from Canada. She was a part of Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's series Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010. Between 2009 and 2010, she appeared in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution, a post-apocalyptic science-fiction show. The show was nominated for a Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. She played Annika Johnson in the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos has been a part of the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. as Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the lead character. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents and restaurant owners George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. After she was born, her family moved to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She feels strongly at home with her Greek roots, and can speak fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school, and attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She found her first TV role within a few weeks, a tiny role on Supernatural. She continued her television work with walk-on roles on Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos was part of the TV film Goblin and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos was also a part of Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast in her first role in a starring part as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! Her debut feature film came in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she appeared alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos was Sammi in Rags in Rags, which was a Nickelodeon original film. Then, she was offered a lead role in the NBC TV series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, the survivalist of an unimaginative future society. She auditioned for the role at the time of her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced her pilot in Atlanta. The first season was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her performance in the debut season of the show nominated for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. However, she lost to Fringe's Anna Torv. The second season of the show was shot in Austin, Texas.
